A copywriter by trade, I've always had fun experimenting with graphic design. In full transparency, sometimes it's necessary to take a mini-break from writing.
Over the years, i've found that graphic design refreshes my creative spirit, and makes it easier for me to get back into a smooth writing groove.
Also, many times when working on freelance projects, especially with smaller clients, they may not have the budget to have a designer as well as a copywriter, Sometimes that small business is my own, as it was tough for me to budget a designer myself. So out of necessity came a new skill that's fun and complementary to the words.
